Skype for iPhone App Reviews

Everytime i log in with my phone on skype i lose connection to the internet this happens 3x before i can actually make a skype call. While making skype video calls the video keeps freezing every 10-20min.

We use Skype regularly for making overseas calls - Indonesia, Kenya, Uganda, the U.K. Quality and clarity are almost always perfect. And the price is certainly right.

Tha app was great. But the last time its getting worse… Microsoft is the Skypes death. The quality of calls is getting worse, sometimes I just cant call to anybody. The app is getting worse with every update. Thank you, Microsoft!

Its the best and Cheap app to call everybody overseas!!!

Am able to call all my family from around the world, with no bugs generally. Great for anyone that wants to do video/audio calling.

Great sound quality and connection even across the Atlantic.

Made work from home fun and enjoyable. Clearer communication compared to hard wired Nortels. Good job team!

I wish I could rate in terms of negative stars. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION. Crashes, freezes, delays the connection, drops calls, doesnt display the correct caller ID, doesnt send people to VM (yes all my settings are correct),you name it. This is the final blow after years of dealing with this junk company. Cant stand this anymore!

Easy to setup and use. Skype calls work well and quality is good

The past week or so (its 3/16/2017 1:09 am) Ive been having calls drop just because Im using my phone for other things. For example just now i was in google docs i hit the back button and the call just dropped. No reason at all and its happened before with other things too like Pokémon go, Tumblr, Facebook, Safari, and YouTube music just to name a few. These calls are important to me because its the only way i can keep in touch with my long distance S/O, so when that issue is fixed ill be glad to give Skype 5 stars but for now i just cant.

Clear sound quality Occasionally drops calls but not sure if thats a connection issue on either end, as I am calling third world countries

The last update is horrible. The app is freezing every time after the last update. Please fix it.

I have used Skype for many years and it generally works well. I pay for an assigned VoIP number and appreciate the convenience. I can send text messages, but I cant receive SMS texts. I wish that Skype would fix this important missing feature.

Quick, reliable and Great Quality app. You can tell that Microsoft put a lot of effort into details making this app. If it was for 300$ I would buy it. Thumbs up from me

Clear calls, use it everyday. It takes a second or so to connect every time you open the app but otherwise its great. Been using the service itself for 10 years now
