Apalling redesign removes crucial contact information

This redesignhas removed the ability to see phone numbers of contacts, and, when numbers are clicked on, goes into a chat interface.

As though one could chat with a phone number.

This is the first review I have written in two years. Never has a redesign been so thoroughly user hostile in my experience on the App Store, or in 15 years of computing on linux, Mac, or Windows.
