Memory/Data Hog Bloatware

Ive used this a few times, when the Mac version is cranky (it requires establishing a Facebook link even if you dont use it or have an account). The current iOS update is 97.7MB!!! How can this be, the App Store says its a 81.4MB app. Evidently nobody there gives a rip. For what exactly should I consume nearly 100MB of data?! And then again & again with so many updates??? As apps load on dubious "features" theyre becoming bloated & this one is a stellar example. Like our data plan, memory or bandwidth is free - NOT!
I want off the frequent update & bloat bandwagon!!!

Every data hungry app should have a real time data consumption meter.

PS Some time ago it was published Skype had facilitated NSA et al bugging the conversations - still?! Tell us about how the app is secure against spying eyes!!!
