Do not update! Calls do not go through on an iPhone!!

Okay so my little sister lives in Texas and my boyfriend is currently stationed in Germany for the Air Force. I used to love being able to Skype them when Im away from my computer and only have access to my phone. Ever since the last update I havent been able to video chat, chat, or call any of the people Id like to talk with. If I want to do anything I have to have my laptop with me and be connected to wifi. My phone service is fine so its not because of a bad connection, this needs to be fixed as soon as possible, not at all happy!!
