The app could be a bit more stable
Skype is like furniture - everyone has it. Thanks to Microsofts purchase of Skype you can now use 2-factor authentication to sign into Skype*. The app is mostly stable but calls drop and the app crashes every once in a while. One of the best features is the sync - whether in the phone app, the desktop app, or the browser version, your status, recent chats, and favourite contacts will sync instantly. Most of the time. I have found the browser version of Skype to be the least stable, followed by the iOS app and then the desktop app. Good to see Siri is now supported - I have not tried that yet.
*you should turn on 2-factor authentication by logging onto Skype.com and then creating a Microsoft account instead of the old Skype sign-in. Those who dont seem to get hit by the baidu malware, which sends out phishing links to everyone in your contact list.
