Lacks basic user experience ideals

The notification icon doesnt show up if Ive "seen" the message on my lock screen. So if I have 30 notifications and the Skype one is at the bottom then I get no other notification.

If I send a message on my computer then the app goes completely mental and fires the notification icon on my phone for MY message, not ones I received.

Skype messaging should feel very similar to texting. Yet, it certainly does not.
