It makes my eyes bleeding

UPDATE 08/04/2017: Today it got stuck showing one unread message when everything was actually read. Deleted this piece of junk, it does nothing but irritates me.

UPDATE 07/09/2017: Today when Ive been calling my daughter, it suddenly has changed its calling sound to some childish cacophony. So in addition to visual torture, there is a sound one as well. It looks like Ill have to uninstall it on the phone and stick to the desktop version.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Design became worse in almost every aspect:

- Bright irritating UI. This color craziness causes REAL PHYSICAL PAIN, I cant look at it more than 10 seconds. And it cant be completely switched off. Even with black & white theme I see that bright palette when I start calling.
- Useless "highlight" and "capture" tabs, while for the calls I have to click on small button in the corner.
- Big heart sign that covers part of the screen during video call that cant be removed. I want to see people Im talking to, not that bloody useless heart.
- 2/3 of the chat screen is taken by frames and spaces, and only 1/3 with text. It is absolutely idiotic! In chat the most important part is text and emojis, not all that surrounding trash.

Designers of this nonsense shouldve been fired and then sued for all the torture they made to the users, not to mention the money Microsoft has lost.
