Unfortunate update/revamp

What a letdown that Skype needs to try to become faKebook2 or crapchat2... UPdates? Really? And a photo page? Grow up, skype... I dont need pats on the back for updating people on my lifes progression... I only desired a useful communications platform; and instead received a popularity contest with CONSISTENTLY HORRIBLE service... One sparse minute of 30 will work okay, and the other 29 have ghosts, echoes, and other useless problems to surmount. All to use the phone... TERRIBLE NEW PLATFORM.
And, hilariously (?) I have to change my password every time I log in...? Skype cant recognize my credentials? I have to literally CHANGE my password for every skype session?
Get real, Microsoft. What a waste.
