Skype has destroyed itself

I dont have words to express how disappointed and even angry I am to have this new version of Skype forced on me. The new user interface is simply awful. I do not like the way it is set up at all. And how can I set or even see my Skype status? Skype has taken a fantastic and highly reliable communication tool and turned it into something probably intended for children, but which I dont think they will like either. Give me back my old Skype, or I will simply delete the application.

Update: Skype and Microsoft are apparently completely unapologetic for the disaster they have created. It has been more than a month since I wrote my initial review, and today I have decided to completely remove Skype from my iPhone. Goodbye and good riddance!
