Used Skype to make 2 calls today for the first time from Africa, 1 call within the country and 1 call to Canada and both were perfect. Excellent sound quality. Canada sounded as though it was next door! Really convenient.

Great App, great quality

Cant even sign in. I tried wifi and LTE and nothing works. This update killed the server connection.

Hello skype has veen good for the most part but theres kne bug that u need to fix is where when u login in i put in my email or phone or name and it wont recognize my information... I have check with my computer and it seems to be there but not on mobile.

I have been a Skype user pretty much since inception. The call quality is fantastic, access to landlines all over the world works great. The contacts integration and user interface is still clunky and it is sometimes hard to find external numbers or distinguish quickly how to call a contact or a fellow Skype subscriber. But it is my go to telephony app.

Read notifications. It could really boost up ratings.

I have been using the skype application for more than 13 years. I could talk to my host family as long as I want for almost free of charge. I really appreciated the original developer. Now, this software belongs to M$ but I hope that they continue to support the original concept of this software.

The last 2/28 update broke few things that worked very well before. This update requires constantly rebooting the phone. One of the things that doesnt work at all is the dial pad if you need to enter code for into a conference call. Calls using skype contacts constantly fail and require a phone reboot. I think this whole iPhone-Skype integration that messed the things up. I am very unhappy. Ive been Skype user since 2007 and use it for most of my calls in the US and international.

I use it mainly to make overseas calls fro USA to other countries. The quality of calls is not always perfect which is why i gave it 4 stars.

I use a paid subscription and use Skype nearly exclusively at home and on travel. The app on my iPhone 5 recently integrated itself into the phone platform so that it operates more seamlessly now. The downside is that the user interface is still hokey, and simple things like finding the keypad is still a guessing game. There are other minor irritants like clearing the notification badge, but overall this is the best thing out there for placing calls over wifi.
