Skype for iPhone App Reviews

It works! I use it frequently & it normally is flawless.

Recently I have noticed that the messaging feature is not working. Nobody is receiving my messages and Im not receiving theirs. Its not just me either May of my friends have told me they have the same issue. Snapchat has a much more reliable messaging feature at this point.

Significant message delays often occur. Sometimes even a couple days. Calls sometimes do not go thru at all. This makes it an unreliable app.

I love Skype! It allows me to contact my friends that dont have a phone number, talk to family members in another state with crystal clear quality, and talk to my internet friends that I do script writing with without any disruptions. Ever since I got the app, I dont think theres ever been a day when I havent used it. However, I do have a few suggestions for improvement ^-^ One of my closest friends lives across the country and we are currently co-writing and producing music with each other. However, I cant send videos from my camera roll on my iPhone that Ive pre-recorded. I have a few demos recorded that I want to send to her but it doesnt give me the option to. I really want this new addition because she cant always video chat with me all the time and I need to send things to her. Also, sometimes I never get notifications even though I have the setting on to receive them, even when the app is closed. Other than that, I highly recommend it. Great app for communication!

It works great, when you call a landline -the video never works well with my iphone. The calling plans are affordable and it loads in a flash. I love it!

Please give us the option to change our theme to something darker. Or at least bring back the dark gray colored keyboard. This white one is really bland and unappealing. Thanks.

Doesnt do too much fancy stuff, but works very well at making calls. The text service is still kind of buggy.

Works good. Been using for years. Sometimes it has trouble but not so often.

This app is the best way for me to call my mom. I could use Line or WhatsApp or Viber, but these free apps are too complex for my mom. So I can call her via a phone number that is unknown and if I let her know Im calling she picks up. It works 100% of the time if ya need to reach yo mama.

As long as wifi is working well, the app works great! Makes it easy to stay connected to friends and family that live far away - or even those just down the road!

I love using this because I kind of need to use this because I use it to talk to my friends to play games. I think a new thing skype needs if the thing I think a lot of people want... Screen sharing on the phone! if I could do that my friends would be able to see what Im talking about. ALSO please add a function that lets us change the volume of people and music in out background so we dont have to be watching a video and not be able to hear it. thanks Skype is great other wise!!!

The app is cool but I had to delete it for something and I cant f#cking re download the app and yes I have enough space

I think this is the best app ever. The love of my life is in another country and Im in Canada. When were apart I can call wherever there is a wifi connection without incurring extra charges on my cell account. This makes being apart tolerable and communication so much easier. Definitely 5 stars although occasionally the call will drop off. Still the best way to keep in touch

Best for gaming on games with out chat or call communication is key and this gives it with out your number you can put people on hold have up to 3-5 people in 1 call its awesome great and I need it thats for sure
