Do not upgrade removed texting feature suxs

It feels nothing like the old Skype we all know. Have to re-learn everything? Where can I change my profile photo? My status? All these concepts seem to be gone. Useless.

skype has been removed from my PC without my consent. every time i got online i would attempt to delete the app but the one time i give it a chance its gone, and it has been days since i last tried deleting it

Skype used to be a fantastic utility app to communicate with your friends and family. Since the update, skype has been behaving more like malware, preventing you from stopping app notifications from blaring loudly on your screen when you receive a call. Settings cant be changed and the new interface and app prevents you from shutting off your screen during a call. Furthermore, skype has frozen my iphone 6 multiple times, making even the home and screen button useless - its sometimes impossible to even switch off the screen. Thats how bad this is. Ive since deleted the app and moved on to Hangouts.

If it was 0 star rating I certainly apply it. The worst version of skype I ever used. What you need to do is to give people an old version and start thinking what people really need.

IMO the apps new appearance, or "theme", is infantile. If you (Skype) must keep tinkering with the look and feel, please provide users with the option of selecting the classic look and feel.

This one sucks. I dont like everything about it now,i believe you can make it look a lot better then it is right now, thanks.

Decent for landline calls but dont have access to all the functionality you get on the desktop version

Skypes new UI has ruined the app. Stupid choice for Microsoft.

Drains battery and wastes data.. and i didnt even call with it. it was in background and used over 20gb of data.

Its been like that for a while, but only got worse with latest new changes. I place a call out to a phone number, it never connects or rings. If I get lucky it works. And whos idea was it to turn on speaker every time I place a call? Its ridiculous. I have to turn it off every time I call. Reinstalling doesnt help. Pretty crappy app.

Guys, do not update. Its a horrible app and its not user friendly anymore. The old application was WAY better for skype.

Why destroy something that was already JUST fine? The interface is broken, the camera wont turn off, calls end from a day long, etc etc. WTH skype???? Oh and also dont have alarms go off people. It freezes the audio on the call youre in. These past recent updates disgust me. Update: Im honestly gonna switch to a different video/audio call (any recommendations?). Skype is horrid now and its not getting any better. Youd think theyd learn after all these complaints. Somethings gotta give and I think its gonna be me giving up on this app and NEVER going back to it. They arent gonna change anything anytime soon anyways. Update 2: *sigh* poor old skype rip they say that theyve fixed reliability issues but I dont see anything of that sort. While reading the description of the update I thought: did Microsoft understand that they messed up a perfectly FINE WORKING APP THAT DOESNT EAR RAPE YOU WHEN YOU CALL SOMEONE? ... nope Im bout to be officially done with skype. Update 3: Skype kicked me out of my account and I can no longer use this useless app. Bye skype Im gone. Update 4: None of my friends can log into their accounts. Skype is forcing us to change our passwords and in my case completely erase my old skype and come out with a new one with no backup to be found for my contacts. Whats with these log in errors skype ??IT ERASED TEN OF MY FRIENDS SKYPE ACCOUNTS INCLUDING ALL CONTACTS AND CHATS ON DESKTOP THE VIRUS HAS SPREAD

It always glitches its says poor connection when my wifi has all 4 bars!! I wish they kept my normal skype not the new version the one we have now.

The new Skype update is awful. They manage to make something simple and intuitive into cumbersome and confusing. I want to delete this app and never use it again.
