Doesnt run in the background so thats a good thing .

Whenever I try to call my friends, it says I cant connect, even when Im on full wifi. Can you please fix this?

From even before skype was part of Microsoft, its been a great service. I have been using it for free skype to Skype calls as well as paid skype to landline calls. The 1 star less is it doesnt have a local number service like Brastel or other calling cards like KDDI. The iOS app is good as well.

This app seems to be getting worse and worse with every update. It spontaneously crashes and then it takes about 10 minutes for my to be able to reconnect my call. When I try to call the person back after a crash, the call immediately disconnects when they answer. I used to really love this app but its really testing my patience these days.

I never had any problems with Skype for years, until this recent update. The new version is unstable, switches speakers on its own, some weird things happen to a camera, when it loses stream completely, and requires 2-3 restarts in 3-4 hours. It is especially troublesome, if you switch the sound source during a call (like your car stereo, or even headphones). This never happened before, until recent update.

my friends cant reach when my phone is off . I just recieve calls when Im using app or when skype is open . please fix this soon .

I just spent $4.99 for a "skype credit top up". Ap store said transaction went through, but didnt get any credit. The whole point is so I can make a call now. If you are going to add credit, I suggest you do it manually, dont use the top up feature.

My best friend has a different phone than me, so she cant FaceTime me. And this works so much better, I love it

Its my lifeline to really keep in touch with friends and family, where I can actually see them and how their kids are growing. Its amazing!!!!

The notification icon doesnt show up if Ive "seen" the message on my lock screen. So if I have 30 notifications and the Skype one is at the bottom then I get no other notification. If I send a message on my computer then the app goes completely mental and fires the notification icon on my phone for MY message, not ones I received. Skype messaging should feel very similar to texting. Yet, it certainly does not.

Im using skype frequently to call my overseas friends and family. The call quality is exceptionally good. This app deserves 5 stars:)

Giving it a five since No major issues encountered so far calling from Tokyo to different parts of the world with the Unlimited World subscription. Did notice a slight delay but again, it can be ignored and nothing major. :)

Skype has been my go to communications app for years. Its reliable and most always allows me to communicate no matter where I am or what the conditions are. From one on one to groups its what I use.

Skype has been a blessing for my family. My husband lives and works in China and several Asian countries sometime six months at a time and this has kept the whole family connected. He has seen his girls take their first steps, sat their first words and many other exciting memories while on Skype. We ? Skype!
