Skype for iPhone App Reviews

This program was trash. THEY FIXED IT!!!!! GREAT QUALITY!!!

I enjoy using Skype for many years and happy with the application performance with the exception of password reset feature. Unfortunately email with the link to reset password is not being delivered to my yahoo account. Fixing this issue will enable me to raise my review to 6 stars. Thank you.

Skype works fine on my iPod touch but on my iPhone SE I must have my video turned on to hear the other person speaking, otherwise its as if the other person is muted. During other calls sometimes the other person cannot hear me unless I turn my camera on but when I do that all I get is loud static. All of my other apps work perfectly speaker and sound work perfectly. The problem only if exists with Skype.

Best phone app. I especially like having a USA number my friends and family can call no matter where Im located.

Horrible app, interface poorly designed & very convoluted. The app appears to be designed by a bunch of teenagers or very low IQ people.

I love the app. I agree that the interface is not very intuitive but the quality of the sound is always good. Have been using it for years now.

Every new release either brings defects or introduces braking changes. Last version freezes for 5-10 minutes after start. I have just 20 seconds to open app and write a message before it goes to "screenshot" mode...

Ive had skype for a while and at first it was great, used it daily. But now, the calls inconsistently fail and not for connection reasons. During the middle of a call the app will crash. And just now a bug is starting that I cannot press buttons on the app when I first start it up. I have to wait several minutes to type anything in chats. Its very irritating but I give it three stars because if its reliability in the past.

When first looking at it, Skype doesnt see like an app that is worth it. However, this is the only time Ill ever review an app and that is simply because of all of the incredible things skype has done for me. Whether if it was able to give me time with friends that live hours away or simply able to make the long distance part of the relationship a little more bearable. It allowed me to now only fall in love with my first love and an incredible girl, but with out it I wouldnt be nearly the person I am today. Even though we broke up earlier this year, Skype allowed me to have the best relationship I have been in which lasted 16 months over skype and 8 more in person. So I guess what I have to say is thank you. I dont use you that much now but u meant the world for me and deserve a thank you.

Agree with j0l0p3 ! This is the most , worst , horrible , ... problem on skype !!!!!!!! Always missed my calls . It wont ring when my phone is locked or working with another ! Only recevied calls when Im working with skype app . Please fix this horrible problem .

I think this is the best app we have in the market the voice quality is very good , I have taken package to cal from dubai to India and its cost me very less and I can use the app to cal any landline and mobile number even when the another person is not connected to Internet.I recommend this app to everyone

I dont know where else to go, because Skypes customer support is just community answers. However, this is a terrible issue that needs to be addressed very quickly. When I was using the app, I found out I used 1.5 GB of cellular data when I was Skype-ing in my home connected to Wi-Fi. I may have to pay overage fees now, because Skype cant police itself and use the correct Internet connection point. I have since turned off cellular data to Skype, which is not the preferred way, because now I cant get a call when Im out and about from Skype. But what else can I do? Case in point, FaceTime just is superior.

I dont ever write reviews for apps, but there was a teddy bear asking me to write it. So here I am. I like this app.

I use Skype daily for worldwide communication in personal and business conversations and I find it indispensable. I use video, voice, and SMS communication depending on need. All forms are great on Skype.

Simply awesome

This app works well and it is invaluable to me when I want to call a land line overseas.
