Skype for iPhone App Reviews

Whenever I am in a Skype call & my phone screen locks, i hear static, and cannot understand the person who is talking. So now whenever I am in a skype call I have to keep my phone screen unlocked, which drains my phone battery faster, and its annoying having to be aware of when ever my phone screen locks. Please fix

I dont usually write reviews but a recent tragedy in my family prompted me to give Skype a heads up and a high-five for an invaluable service because Skype can serve a purpose for people to connect on a daily basis for every day mundane situations but also help families connect from long-distance in important situations like a death in the family or even a joyous occasion like a birthday or any kind of celebration I used Skype when I got married and had my parents attend the wedding ceremony by video during the whole ceremony and then after that the reception speaking with other family members and with the bride and groom as well thanks Skype youre the best

Its end the call when I lock my phone. Before it was not doing that.

Skype2go : please add Skype app to skype2go call using local mobile access feature. Data is expensive.

I cannot recommend this app, or any of the skype programs (desktop an browser). The program itself is littered with glitches, ads an is an extreme resource hog. There are MANY new programs that have been released that run smoother, crisp, easy to use and take up less room an bandwidth than this app an whole program.

As the title states, I really cannot understand why it has taken SO unbelievably long to fix certain issues that have been lingering for years. For the love of God, PLEASE stop randomly changing my status to ONLINE. As many other users have stated for quite some time, and have apparently been continuously ignored, people change their statuses to "offline", etc for a *reason*. Why on earth would anyone want to continue using such a terrible messenger service when it randomly changes it *back* to "Online" for everyone to see. Also, please stop randomly signing me out. If I want to sign out, I will sign out *manually*...Would definitely alter my rating if these issues were actually fixed for once.

None of my contacts from my PC version of Skype are in my contacts. Instead theres a bunch of random people I barely know, like old landlords. App is useless

Well looks like its going to be messenger or whats app for now on. My skype account seems to have disappeared and theres just no way to recover my password without creating a new account.

Latest version messed up all of the audio emoji example the angry birds, secret life of pets, etc. I am forced to reboot my iPod touch to get then to work. FIX THIS! It was fine before the update.

I am using skyle with my iphone 5 for very long time but since ios 9 the microphone doesnt work when talk with loudspeaker...i have to connect my earphone...tought my iphone is broken but since months and ios 9.3.5 now no fix...annoying...so i use hangouts now...

Skype forever!!!

Trying to make the updade for last 3 days. It got totally stuck and cannot use it at all.

Wtf??! With every upadłe just getting worse! Struggling to make a connection.

Fix the multiple notifications, they shouldnt stay at the notification center if the messages had been already read!

This app is awesome!

Basicly the old skype worked quite well the new one... Even not single contact has been sync, basicly no co tacts whasoever.

In this version push notifications just not working. Ive got new conversation on Mac but not on iPhone, even when I open app, I need to wait few seconds for syncing. That was not happening in previous version.
