Skype for iPhone App Reviews

Even though you have to pay some money, its the best way to call a landline phone in the states. Im in Japan right now and Skype makes it easy to call the old timers who hate cell phones and computers. Its clear and very reasonably priced. Thanks Skype!!

I use Skype mostly for voice calls to a landline and it is great for that purpose. The SMS is also excellent. Good sound quality, good user interface.

No matter what you try, there is no support, even if you call Microsoft, you get no support on this app. Features have been removed and the performance has degraded over the years.

Great app! Having this allowed me to get rid of my land line and have really clear call quality through my WiFi connection. Love it.

So grateful for the connection with my bestie visiting France and the Mainland US at a reasonable price. Thank You!

Ive used Skype since it came out and the iPhone version is very well done.

Calling on here must really pi$$ off the telcos. Its excellent quality and a fraction of the cost. Everyone should try it, works like clockwork.

I just finish a conference video call. It worked flawlessly!

I have been using skype app from 3 years or even more than that. Ive never had such an issue previously. The conversations doesnt load and it takes forever to end the call. This update is not really worth. Hope you guys clear the bugs.

This is the 1st Time Ive used Skype when out of the USA. Was wonderful to chat with my Daughter face to face!

Excellent to attend classes with private teacher and talk to our family when abroad.

My family lives in Italy and this is the best app to be in touch and watch the people you love!

Amazing application that make long distance very short

Beside you can talk for free and see your friends and families you can talk for small amount 40 -50 minutes with Bank or any slow process from you CC Card and dont have to worry about them taking 50minutes of call . I call the Philippines,Indonesia and Central America a lot from the U.S and considering the areas I call they are crisp and clear. Wouldnt mind lower rates for users that pay often :)
