Skype for iPhone App Reviews

Honestly Im so tired of delayed messages of even more annoying messages that are out of order. Or my personal favorite, messages that never ever show up from the other person unless I look at the desktop version or web version of the app. The lack of synchronicity is ridiculous. This is the ONLY messaging app I have this problem with. Was a joke.

I love Skype but suddenly after the new update I cant receive files anymore. Im not sure if its a bug or if file sharing has been taken off completely.

Worth paying than other application...provide u call quality what others dont.

I try delete and doesnt delete I updated and doesnt update I download and doesnt work why??? Please fix

I recently had a hard time calling from China to USA. VONAGE extension didnt give me a useable connection after several tries spread over a week. Skype connected on the first try. Skype continues to give excellent performance in Beijing area.

No longer works on my Apple Watch. Loads for 5 seconds then quits. Also when transitioning from wifi to LTE the call drops 9 out of 10 times. Same problem other way around. Other than that I use Skype every single day. Most of my week is spent talking on skype. Love it!

Bought an Apple Watch mostly to use Skype on it but every time I open it, it crashes upon startup.

Is so convenient for me not having to login into a computer to get connected with my family in another country!! Love it!!

Should have the ability to quote others and find old messages that were sent via search in chat like the desktop version.

Its a little glitchy here and there but other than that its really good

Essentially useless to receive inbound calls. Ringing will work for a time then inexplicably just stop.

Stop with the RATE CALL after every single call I have to do...!!!.,

I love this app! I use it everyday! Sometimes there is the occasional issue where you send a message and the other person never gets it, but other than that, I cant really complain. Its fast, and best part is ITS FREE!

Although it is buggy with the video chatting, it allows me to communicate with my band and it brings so much happiness to me.

Please give us the option to change our theme to something darker. Or at least bring back the dark gray colored keyboard. This white one is really bland and unappealing. Thanks.

I love Skype for iPhone but i think it would be cool if they could make it so that group calling can see screen shares from people on the computer.

I use this app to to video chat with my niece who does not have FaceTime. Works almost as well and we love the text messaging as well.

I love using Skype for talking to my friends for something like an assignment for a teacher. Its such a convenient app for online get togethers. I would highly recommend this app for everyone who talks to friends and family a lot.

To those who are planning to put money into their skype account, my advise is: DONT. They will suspend your account while refusing to tell you the reason. And it will take tons of effort to get your account unlocked even if youve done nothing wrong. Skype is now turning into a dishonest company which survives on robbing people. Shameless.
