Skype for iPhone App Reviews

When I select contacts with international numbers that already have +(country code) is always messed up. Skype always adds +1 in front of the +(country code) number and doesnt let you select the first digit to delete. Regardless of the country selected. You have to delete the whole thing. Pretty much prompts you to enter one digit at a time. Very annoying when doing the calling regularly.

Great app. Cant beat call quality.

Lately, its dropping a lot of calls in mid-conference! Following is the original 5-star review: Cant imagine life without it! Clear conference calls. A lifeline for me in an isolated area. Cheap, too!

..every time an alarm goes off on the phone, the call suddenly has no audio. Call hasnt dropped or anything. Internet is working fine. Please fix this as it is every annoying to constantly recall.

Sometimes people try to Message me and I will Not Get The Message Until The Next Day , And People Ask Why It Took So Long To Answer. Its really Annoying...

I love this app and use it every day to talk to my friends, but I lost the ability to bold and italicize words using asterisks and underscores. Please add this back because I used it all the time.

Ever since the new update, my contacts are not receiving my messages. For every 4 I send, they receive one. They no longer show up as online/away (when in fact they are, as they simultaneously emailed me and said they were). Its quite frustrating and makes me want to delete the application and go elsewhere to message my friends. Please look into this issue and fix.

I only have a few things to say about this app and that it is a GREAT APP. I use this almost daily just to talk to my friends that are somewhere out of state. Calls are outstanding! Video quality are okay, but I barely use them. Anyway, thats all I have to say about this, that its a great app. And its free to call. Keep the updates good Skype!!!

Just a mess. Still a mess.

My boyfriend and I really want to connect on skype, since my school will be let out and we cant see each other over the summer. While downloading this app, I saw some things about money. I dont have money, Im very much broke. Do you really have to pay for this? If I just call in America, I dont have to pay? Please respond, thanks

The app always disconnecting its been 4 days now Im not able to login to skype after Suddenly disconnected with no reason or any understandable message to trace the error. Also not working with cellular, only push notifications. Chat syncing between device is too slow and poor. I wish I had not to use Skype, unfortunately this is currently the only professional way to finish my overseas tasks with low coast for growing companies.

It works very well with rare exceptions. Using Skype a couple of times daily, only less than 3% of calls have a bad connection

I would like to be able to change my username just once

I always use this app to text my friends, but one day I went to text my friends and it glitched so I could no longer see my texts or the people I was texting earlier. I tried to reinstalling the app but it would not show up. Please try and find a way to fix this.

Skype for iPhone is a lifesaver. A clean design and easy to use. And the call quality has greatly improved. I love it.

I cant see group video on my iPod or iPad

Forgot my password and had it reset from the app. Tried to login and it wont let me. Tried a couple more time and still cant. Reset the password again. Still the same. Whats happening???

It shouldnt be necessary to have multiple accounts just to use the iOS app if someone uses their Facebook account to sign in normally.

Nobody mentions about the heating problem? It is super hot when use on iPhone, iPad and MacBook Pro retina.
