I use skype for business to interact with virtual assistant and have noticed lately that messages are delayed going through. Sometimes a whole day, an hour or so, or until I manually log in and check that Ive received something. This had caused me many problems and has shown that skype is no longer a reliable source of communicating. Im gonna look for an alternative, probably google chat

NO longer a productivity app its more like Snapchat. Cant see whos online and dont get notifications. Trash. Absolute trash.

Im not sure what was the reason to make this changes but all the cell phone numbers I had saved and used on regular basis are gone after the update and there is no way to save them along with Skype name like it was possible before. I was calling all over the world, paying for it and it was easy with the numbers saved now Im using different apps so Skype is not even making money on me.

Please revert to the old UI, the new one is just terrible. UI feels like theres too much clutter and the new moment feature is also just useless for most. The vast majority hates the new UI. If you want to push the new design then thats fine but you might as well add a Legacy Mode.

"Were constantly working to make Skype better for you" - yeah, right. If you were "constantly" working, youd come up with some better functionality and design than this imbecile peace of cr*p you call Skype now. Even if you worked one day a week youd do better. This ugly notepad-looking sh*t with psychedelic colors doesnt have anything in common with good ui or user friendliness. Even toddler could draw better. I hope your designer is seeing a doctor already b/c theres no way it is done by a normal person. At least you could consider adding an option to choose an old Skype theme for people who are not insane yet.

where do I even begin... the random freezing every five seconds, taking twenty minutes to send a single message, the call starts on speaker by default, the call freezes my screen, the awful calling interface... I could go on. this is the worst version of mobile skype yet.

The UI is annoying (squiggly lines animating? Who thought that was a good idea?) But the real problem is performance. Chat is slow as dirt on my iPhone 6. I would revert in a second if I could. Cmon Microsoft, get your s*** together. Yeah, not likely. :/

Please revert to the old UI back, everything is terrible in the new interface and I cant even open up contacts list anymore to call people! I have to go to my contacts manually, copy the number, and switch back to skype to call every single time! Thats stupid

What have you done?! You have turned an awesome video calling app into a social media junk!!!

Is pretty stable so far

This is by far the worst update of an app that I have ever seen. It doesnt look or behave anything at all like it did before. My group chat threads are gone and I cant change my status. Whats the point. I use this app for work. Im officially looking for another option to recommend to my team.

Skype is better than WhatsApp, and as good as FaceTime. Its my preferred method to chat with non iPhone users. I highly recommend.

Audio is clear and stable but graphical interface is terrible. Introducing colour choices and other new features doesnt mean subjecting users to this confusing mess.

The new interface is the best example of how user interfaces shouldnt be done! Also, core features like setting and changing the status have been removed (or are another example of the "greatness" of the new interface). This makes Skype unusable (I dont want to be on-line while at work, for example) and, as a result, I have to shut it down after every and at the end Ill simply delete it from my phone!

Why Skype is such a pain after the recent update? No more messages to cellular numbers, and even the archive of past cellular messages has mysteriously disappeared after the update.

App works but compared to older versions one can affirm that new is not better. ´If its not broke, dont fix it. shouldve been the approach to ´bettering the app on iOS & OS X. Also there should have been an option to have separate passwords for Skype & Hotmail. Hopefully these & other isdues will be resolved next by the next update.

Return the old design! The new one is rubbish!!!!! No status!!!

Im really trying hard, as an experienced IT technician, to understand this app. Contact Sync is buggy - does not sync contacts starting with a numeral. Skype online help refers to old versions and those things no longer work. Cant figure out the difference between the contacts page and the calls screen - both show basically the same things. etc etc. Really bad!
