I love talking with family overseas.... makes communication so easy

I like the new blocks they added but the zombies r hard to kill also I saw a squirrel in my backyard yesterday in case u were wondering anyways this new roblox update is tupid

I use this app on an almost daily basis to communicate with my daughter and granddaughter who live in another state. Since the update, I havent been able to turn my phone and get a full "landscape" of whats going on with them. The tiny little square of myself is hard to tell how much they are seeing. Today I somehow ended up with a completely split screen of myself on one side and them on the other. I couldnt get rid of it. There also seems to be many more icons to choose when I answer now. The whole thing is just frustrating and I dont understand how they consider it an update.

I prefer the original version. Cant even tell when I get an alert and this is not beneficial to use when working.

I used to absolutely love Skype, it was an amazing app. Very professional, clean, and easy to use. With this update EVERYTHING is TERRIBLE!!! The app lags a ton, the colors are all so annoying. During calls its no longer simple. PLEASE GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

You cant even view your profile, or at least very difficult to do so. Abs trash.

I cant seem to get any multimedia messages to be properly sent or received, they just dont go through. And even before this update, the notifications were very iffy. Thank you

Messages wont send unless I hard reset my phone or delete and redownload the entire app, and the new layout removed some features that made Skype, Skype. You cant create a mood bio, cant change your online status nor see the statuses of others, cant crop your profile picture. Oh wow! Colors? That REALLY makes up for EVERYTHING!

This app is so slow to text friends on and do anything period. We dont want to have a "Snapchat" like feature. Its completely useless and not viable on this app at all. Please slim it back down to what it used to, calling and messaging. Its a slow mess now

I used to like this app, but the new version is a disaster. Looks pretty, but completely non-functional. Also, today while I was asleep, it woke me up with a notification about some new feature. Skypes on notice, since FaceTime doesnt annoy me with such things. Dear Skype, please dont use notifications for anything other than an incoming call or message. Thats the mobile app version of telemarketing. But I can delete you, unlike the telemarketers.

This app use to be good but the update is terrible change it back to the original !

The app works just fine but why take something as straight forward as calling or finding a contact and dialing and make it so difficult? Worry less about the color scheme and more on function by the user.

When I try to log in it tells me that my account doesnt work even though it still works on my computer!!!!!!!!

I live in the Cayman Islands and my daughter lives in Texas and I Skype with her all the time and we talk for hours and I rarely have issues with the app. I only experience issues when I am in an area with a weaker wifi signal but other than that it is a great app to use.

Just...why..... Im not going to waste my time pointing out the many things that are horribly wrong with the newest release. If you are on the dev team...spare us all and find a new gig. How you can think this is an improvement in any way shape or form is beyond me. Off to find a replacement. Should be easy.

Buggy, slow, and not user friendly.

Cant see whos online Cant access phone numbers easily Cant access dialing pad efficiently Calls arent going through on my phone if the app isnt open (they used to) and arent forwarding to my cellphone (subscribed to that...as on, I pay for that service that Im not getting!) Navigating is extremely difficult and combobulated. Dont know where my contacts are that were saved to Skype (as in, not on my phone and arent skype users)

New upgrade is a real disaster: took a klunky but functional tool and turned it into a damaged joke that cannot even do basic functions. Others have speculated on motive (SnapChat wannabe), so here are the major flaws: 1. Cannot access contacts on the iPhone directly: must first Synch ALL my contacts to Microsoft (with no notice, no explanation and no permission). 2. Dial pad is completely blank with no obvious way to get to the "Hide" screen functions e.g. speaker, mute, add call, etc. Are you kidding? 3. Unless it is well hidden, cannot find any way to access account information and conduct business, edit settings, etc. Philosophically, completely wrong direction--a change of product, not a refresh or upgrade. And Im paying for three services on this Skype app, not a free version supported by whatever revenue they can extract from stealing personal information (contact synchs).

Okay I love this app, but theres a glitch happening on my acc and it is i cant see when someone is active or not and this bothers me a lot. If someone could fix that or tell me how to fix it I would be very grateful.

What did you do? Defaults to speaker (cant change), I enter the home number and it matches a contact but calls them using a different number, my contacts have been screwed up and I cant amend them Please uninstall and give me back something that works! Update: still so upset about this. How do I know if Im calling a cellphone and not their computer?
