Still not possible to setup invisible status and design is horrible.

I have no idea what happened to you when you decided to kill Skype for iPhone. Lost intuitivity, lost usability, added garbage like colour themes, deleted online status of contacts.... WTF is happening in your brains??? If could give -5 stars I would.... :-(

... REPORTED "issues" since DAY #1 ... (a) Onlinestatus settings STILL missing (b) "Delete **ALL** chats" at once STILL missing (c) ... REVIEW customer/user FEEDBACKS !!!! EVEN one "STAR" is too high rating for this disaster!

Its almost impossible to put into words how bad Skype has become since the last 2 updates. I wish they would just give us the choice between the new and the old layout. I dont see a single improvement, it looks only more confusing. The old simplicity is gone, in exchange you get a lot of childish eye candy, Im not sure what is going on there but I hope theyll undo this mess soon, meanwhile Ill focus on using Viber.

Since the new update, the new UI is less useful than before. And also, each week, my password never works and i need to change it every single time.

fix this version please. I cant see if my contacts are online or offline! I cant see the away status of contacts I havent talked to recently!!!!!!!!

The current version is not sync with phone contacts. The names (persons not using Skype) are not showing in the Skype after I called them and also there is no option to add their name, if we want..!!

This new update sucks, the old Skype version was much more easier and so much better.

Skype has been a communications platform, period. We dont need another social media hub. The redesign is not intuitive. I should be able to navigate without instructions to exactly what I want, eg contacts, whos online, etc. But without instructions I have no idea how to do these once basic things.

Microsoft really screwed this one. Remember, none of this happened till Microsoft bought Skype. The interface is so plain and boring and extremely frustrating to use, all the good of Skype seems to have been sucked dry with this update. Oh yeah, and chat doesnt want to be sent anymore apparently. Please notice EVERYONEs 1star rated opinions and fix this. Id hate to this simple and useful app that I have used for many years go to absolute garbage. Revert to old version or push to the next part.

Is it a joke? Every week new update and not much of improvement...good bye skype...we started using messenger to contact with my familly,a lot way better....

Excellent application, but if you older than eight years it is banned for you (kindergarten only, please). EDITED: Still waiting for a professional "Version for Adults", Dont forget to improve battery consumption - application is using it as a locomotive (generating heat & smoke) for unnecessary, unwanted functions. If you dont know how to build a good application, give at least a chance for people to lets them load an old, good version from the past (April-May) instead. 21 July. Update cause the app go look like a poorly designed pc in 1990s. Unable to see online users Unable to see tue interface in a user friendly manner Front End design and colour is poor, pale and dull Who authorises such a stupid update. Same as for MS office 2013... grey and dull!! This a a rubbish new application. Miss the original Skype - bright, colourful, user friendly, and easy to use.

August 8 update: a lot better, more user-friendly, but still not a five star app, as its used to be, mainly because its not showing contact status (whether online or not) when in "contacts" directory. Will be very useful to add this feature, as it is on the desktop version, so you know if a person is worth trying to call right from the contacts list. Al in all, its a good update, however still have where to go. An update itself looks quite interesting, withal the interface has become less informative. The most disappointing thing is that now you cannot see whos online and whos not from the contacts list and/or from the chats history screen. You have to enter into each respective chat in order to find out if the persons online, which is quite irritating. Upd: nothings changed, 1 star is way too high for you

The latest version resurfaced all the chats for the last three years, including those with blocked users. Im deleting the app for good.

Skype kinda bugs up a lot when Im using it to video chat it makes the call and the video lag so bad were that it robots me on the other end and same goes on the other side, till Skype gets it fixed Im only giving it 2 stars

In all honesty, Skype used to be an amazing application on mobile. It had a wonderful color scheme of blue and white and a nice format for easy management. Now, Skype on mobile looks unpleasant and sloppy. The new "highlights" feature, followed by the "following" feature, in my opinion, are unnecessary. Skype was mainly for communicating with people within your contacts. The "highlights" feature is pretty much useless, and it can just be easily replaced just by sending photos in a group chat. The new "themes" are ugly and dont look very nice to look at. They do not compliment the format of the app or the other colors. The formatting is also very disorganized and it makes it hard to manage in my opinion.

Its a great app but it ends the calls sometimes and lags but other than that its great

This new stuff takes a ridiculous chunk of storage and the new UI is unwanted. At least give an option to revert the UI to the old version

Ive never written a review for an app but I had to comment about this TERRIBLE update. I dont mind the new GUI but the functionality of the app is awful now. If I have an alarm set, said alarm goes off, once I go back to the call theres no audio. I have to call my SO back multiple times before I can hear her again. Sometimes it wont ring on my phone and I can see her calling on my laptop, sometime calls drop and theres no notification that it did in our chat log, sometimes the app works fine, most of the time it does not. Will be looking for an alternative until you guys fix all these bugs.
