Skype for iPhone App Reviews

Cannot even install or use because it is in loop. Old is not working, new cannot be installed. Time to say goodbye to that crap.

They tried to "fix" something that wasnt broken, and in doing so they actually broke it in the process. Awful.

Its the one feature on the phone app that I use regularly, outside of the messaging.

Why is the default action for a calling app not call the contact? Why does it take more interaction to call a contact than invite a contact? We use a calling app to call contacts, not invite them. Recommended fix, make calling the contact the default action.

The new app is a bad joke

When I heard there was a new update coming out yesterday, I was actually hopeful that Microsoft had seen their mistake and reverted back to their old ways. Instead, the app got even more confusing with more pointless additions and other junk. Almost all of my contacts have switched from Skype to Discord or Google Plus. Me and a couple of friends have stuck with it even through the terrible update from last month, but seeing as though our feedback has yet to be heard were officially done. Theres too many issues... from pictures not showing up in the image library to not letting us answer calls or crappy connection. Nothings simple anymore... not to mention I lost a majority of my group messages during the update. Im sorry (not sorry) Skype, but youve officially lost our business.

If this feature is in the new app, then it is buried beyond the ability of my tiny mind to find it. If i miss a call, one click in the same panel should allow me to listen to the callers voicemail. Please bring back this feature. Thanks.

I dont like any of the new features honestly. my friends even started to use discord instead

All my Skype contacts and past chats have disappeared. New version wants to use my contacts to find and invite people to Skype. I only want a fraction of those people to have access to me in Skype. I may not even reconnect with the ones I used to be connected to - there are other apps that can give me the functionality I had. What a waste Microsoft, what were you thinking?

I hate the new Skype app for iPhones!!! Its not even worth a one star.

New upgrade is garbage. Hard for people with vision issues to see and hard to find anything including settings. Instead you should concern yourselves with making it work. CHANGE IT BACK! How do I revert BACK to the other Skype? This garbage wont even let me Skype call my children to their Skype account? I WILL NOT BE UPGRADING SKYPE EVER AGAIN. AND SINCE MY DAUGHTER CANT EVEN GET ON ANYMORE BECAUSE OF YOUR SO CALLED APP BETTERMENT, I PROBABLY WILL BE DELETING IT ALSO!

Skype isnt a social media app. Its not Snapchat and its not instagram. Why the hell are there "highlights" and why the hell is there photo sharing that works horribly, hell doesnt even work. Skype is for sending private messages to people and to be in voice or video calls. SKYPE IS NOT SOCIAL MEDIA

The WORST EVER!!! Had to reload the old version. Bring back the old !!!! Still hate it. Not like your Snapchat or Instagram. I hated them too. Now you messed skype up. What the hell.

Ive been avoiding updating this app since the big update mostly everyone hates.. I want to go back. My phone auto updated and it got on my nerves so much. Is there a possible way to go back an update? Ive never disliked a blatant copy of Discord more than now. Please, Skype administrators.. help me. Help me go back. This hurts. It really hurts. As someone who fairly dislikes change, this is horrible. The formatting.. the copy of discord and all.. just.. please. Is it possible to go back an update? Someone, if any Skype administrators or anyone who can do something for me.. how do you go back an app update..

Mal optimisé, très lent, design bof... ?

As of last update this is an absolutely horrible and atrocious app. Its a poor attempt to combine few features from some other social apps covered with a design so horrible it probably classifies as a crime against humanity.
