Very easy to use with a friendly user interface!

Thats is, Skype is off my phone. This is the worst version ever... impossible to see who is online or not? How can it be ?

Some good features but many complications. Why cant I display my contacts phone numbers anymore? And where is my contact list anyway???? Simply good to useless complications... downgrade.

I use the Skype app on my iPod to make conventional phone calls. My prepaid cell phone account charges me 10¢ per minute for calls, including toll free numbers. Skype is 2.3¢ per minute and free for 800 numbers. The sound quality is better on my iPod than on the Flip Phone. The new Skype app for iOS is very pretty, BUT the touch-screen button to hang up the call often disappears from the display or fails to work when it does appear. Also, the app shows previous calls by name, and not number, so I dont know if I am calling a friends cell phone, business phone, or home phone. I have to enter the number I want to reach manually. The old app was a joy. Any way to get it back?

My 2017 new review: Microsoft just killed Skype. The team responsible for this update should be fired. You guys just did the same as old good Microsoft products like: Msn Messenger, Hotmail (windows live, outlook what ever). ? Bad UIX, bad design, bad direct message, bad contact management and bad voip. Skype Simply dont work anymore . ?? My old 2013 review: I have skype since the first day and I was watting for quite long to have this client for iPhone the best is SIMPLY WORKS

Just terrible. Now it is so much more difficult to figure out. And it does not work reliably. I really dislike this update. Have to explore other options now.

simple and sharp video and clear audio, simple GUI and above all, wild spread :) - a must to have

The latest version is unusable. Bad design, poor handling. The worst IOS version ever! I will use another program. Im sorry!

After reading about all the negativity and problems the new Skype has, I am not going to download it. So unfortunately I can no longer communicate using Skype via iPhone, which is a bummer. Oh well, bye-byeeee Skype!

The new update is clunky, hard to use, and slow. You also cant choose an actual USERNAME anymore for skype, which is ridiculous.

Bring back visibility of whos on !!! Terrible!!! Thank you for making this great app useless!!! Anyone know other apps to replace Skunks...I meant Skype?!

It get crashed often. Overall its fine. Id recommend to use this one for conference call and other calls.

The new skype layout is extremely confusing and vexing. I cant even find anything, it was fine the way it was before I really dont understand why you guys had to go and change it. I really prefer the old skype, please give us back the old version.

Why do you change things that work, not adding a single perk but making them more complicated and limited than a previous version? Its the sin of IT developers: they dont have in mind what we need and is best for us but whats in their "brilliant" minds. Yes, it has a lot of stupid colors. I forgot: We Want the previous version right now!!!!!!!!!

Terrible update. Ive been using Skype for years but they made it the worst it could ever be. I will no longer use skype from now on.

we all know it looks awful but now I cant even get my messages to send or receive half the time since the updates lol. its absolutely terrible.
