Since new update came you cant send sms. Why???

If I cannot revert I will need to switch our company over to Slack.

It keeps crashing on my iPhone and I have to restart my when when I want to use it

Awful upgrade. Cant see conversations on other devices. How do I install the old version again?

Skype is a great app. But the recently new upgrade is bad, very confusing now.

The new update is terrible. This is crucial to my work, we communicate globally on Skype and cannot go on/offline-terrible update. Not easy to figure out either.

Happy to say I find this refreshed updated version a strong improvement with a modern and current look and feel. Also seems to be better on battery and quicker and more responsive in general

The shittiest "upgrade" of the year goes to Skype. Please change this back to the classic view or at least give users the options of switching it back.

Both audio and video quality was great.

My contacts are gone. My chat logs are gone. Why would I ever use this again?! Garbage update. Trash app. 0/5 stars.

The app will only let people call me, but I cant call anyone else. If this wasnt the only way to communicate with some of my friends, it would be uninstalled. FIX THIS ISSUE ASAP!

Updating this review. Ok so after the latest update its not terrible but need to bring back mood messages and being able to change online status to away or offline. I dont understand why these were taken away. If youd fix this it would be much better. Please listen to these reviews Im seriously thinking of switching services.

thanks Skype crew for a great app and the opportunity to talk to my son over seas it mean a lot to me especially when funds are had to come by

I loved using the old skype, it was easy to use and rarely had any bugs to deal with. This new update is constantly messing with my calls; whether it be the camera messing up or it just constantly saying "reconnecting" .. even now, it has my call on hold and wont go back to the call.. although, Im enjoying the new look, it is just VERY buggy.

This is the worst update Ive ever seen from an app. The layout is messy, the gradients look cheep and ugly, all the while dumbing down an app, thats only purpose was to make calls, into a moronic way to try to connect with a social media crowd. All the while Skype fails to appeal to older users who stuck to the app due to simplicity. Avoid updates at all costs.

The new interface is hideous, counter-intuitive, and full of pop-up spam. Did you cherry-pick the most incompetent mobile developers in the world to work on this update?

This new update was a terrible decision. I use to enjoy Skype, now I cant do anything on it. Its not compatible with older versions like previous updates were before this one, calls and messages dont come through when out of the app like they use to, and messages dont always send either. You created a prettier layout? The layout doesnt matter, the functionality does, the efficiency that this app use to have matters. Please fix this mistake, I didnt even mean to update the app now Im stuck with it.

Honestly. Hating the new skype. I cant tell when people are online anymore. If their set to "away" or "idle" it shows them as offline. Bring back the old Skype. Hell I even went back on my computer and downloaded an older version of Skype because the new pc version is just as bad!

And I have tried turning my phone off and on again and uninstalling and reinstalling the app which does work but once i leave the app it doesnt open anymore without crashing when I get new messages. It works fine when I dont have any new messages. But thats useless

This is the best video conference application. Video quality and sound quality are a plus.
