Great app used it for years and reasonably priced for international calling

Please bring the old UI back!!!

I mean its not bad but like its not good at the same time even the UI is horrible and you cant even change your online status this is crap but atleast we can talk to pepole and hear them.

this new version gives a hard time and no options provided at all. Old version is always better than new ones ?

Looks pretty cool and modern for 2017 though lacks some basic useful functionality for saving and sending files to various apps from the chat window.

Hope they change it to the old UI

This is horrible, the previous version was best. The UI is confusing. Leave social media to the program. Do what Skype is good for ... please keep it simple. signed in and it wont recognize my subscription

To see if a contact is online you need to tap the contact and look at their status. Waste of time. Moving to WhatsApp.

Still useless. On computer shows 7 person online. In app just 2.

Ever since the latest upgrade, I cant send or receive text or SMS in Skype anymore.

What a letdown that Skype needs to try to become faKebook2 or crapchat2... UPdates? Really? And a photo page? Grow up, skype... I dont need pats on the back for updating people on my lifes progression... I only desired a useful communications platform; and instead received a popularity contest with CONSISTENTLY HORRIBLE service... One sparse minute of 30 will work okay, and the other 29 have ghosts, echoes, and other useless problems to surmount. All to use the phone... TERRIBLE NEW PLATFORM. And, hilariously (?) I have to change my password every time I log in...? Skype cant recognize my credentials? I have to literally CHANGE my password for every skype session? Get real, Microsoft. What a waste. Next youll try to become Amazon?

The new update takes away key features and replaces them with flashy crap. Whereas Skype for the iPhone used to allow, with an external keyboard, one to hit return to send the message -- a must for an effective typing communication tool, now ONE MUST, EVEN IF TYPING ON AN EXTERNAL KEYBOARD, HIT THE SEND BUTTON ON THE SCREEN! Absolute insanity. Why destroy something functional and useful Skype?????

I dont have words to express how disappointed and even angry I am to have this new version of Skype forced on me. The new user interface is simply awful. I do not like the way it is set up at all. And how can I set or even see my Skype status? Skype has taken a fantastic and highly reliable communication tool and turned it into something probably intended for children, but which I dont think they will like either. Give me back my old Skype, or I will simply delete the application. Update: Skype and Microsoft are apparently completely unapologetic for the disaster they have created. It has been more than a month since I wrote my initial review, and today I have decided to completely remove Skype from my iPhone. Goodbye and good riddance!

After an update in August 2017, my Skype doesnt work anymore. When I made a phone call, the sounds come out from the bottom speaker and the on phone microphone is not functional. I couldnt find out where to configure. The new version doesnt do its job...

The new version of Skype doesnt allow you to text to phone and doesnt work intermittently. Microsoft proves they are clueless!

Why with each new release of your product, whether its the Windows version, and now the iOS version, do you take away perfectly functioning capabilities of your program. It used to be so easy to see who of my contacts was online and available for talking to. Now I think that that function is impossible. I guess I have to find a new program for my video chatting.
