Use Skype much less and probably will stop using completely, because of new version. MAJOR DOWNGRADE in all aspects.

Clear voice. No call drops. Works anywhere in world. Good for travelers.

Awesome application

I use this so our son may talk to use when were at work or he may call his grandmas. Its great for us.

Every since I upgraded I can only use Skype to text. It no longer allows me to make free calls or video calls. Prior to the upgrade I had no issues. Its become a worthless app.

Besides the fact that I loathe this update for reasons that have been mentioned multiple times in other peoples reviews, the call function now doesnt even work. Every call is perpetually connecting and failing. Its not me, my phone, or my platform; my most frequent Skype contacts have Android phones and they are reporting the same problem. I have deleted/reinstalled and that has not fixed it. So the question Im asking myself now is: "If I strongly dislike the cumbersome interface of a glitchy app, and even its most basic function of making a call is broken, why is it still on my phone?" Pretty sure the answer involves deleting it off my phone.

I love this app and I recommend this to everyone who wants to be able to call and ft on an ipod or tablet. It locked me out the first time I got it but its fine now. Thx Skype.

Used Skype App on my iPhone7 Plus for this meeting. So happy that voices were clear, no static. Perfect.

August 2017 update is horrible!!!!! Please return the previous version!!!!! Otherwise this app has to be deleted!!!!!!!!!!!

The latest update of this app is a complete flop. Its extremely disorganized and frustrating to use. I loved this app and the service it provided before but now it just gives me a headache. A huge waste of time to figure out how to work the thing now. It seems that they just tried to add a bunch if unnecessary bells and whistles and it doesnt work.

I really love skype, been using it for a very long time to communicate with my family back home. I love the added new updated version and I will keep using it again and again. Thank you skype!

I LOVE(D) SKYPE I use it almost every day, and I depend using the Skype app on my phone. And I recently just downloaded the new update, and it is complete garbage. There are so many bugs, its unreal. The color scheme is HORRIBLE, I hate it so much, and I bet many people can agree. I loved the old and simple colors before the update. It was so nice, but now it literally just makes me want to die. And the overall look of the app, like what is that? Its horrible. Also, you cant update your status! I depend on that you know, I am literally nothing without it. The only way I can actually update my status is to go onto my laptop, which does get annoying. And finally, you cant tell if your friend is online without pressing on their profile. The green, red, and yellow circles were so helpful. And when you press on their profile it only says "active now" Which is still pretty terrible. And you cant even change your online status! Cause sometimes I just dont want to be bothered while on my phone. In conclusion, dont download the app, and dont update it if you have the old update (I made the mistake of updating the app) P.S. I really hope Skype will actually pay attention to our reviews and either fix the app or change it back to the old update. Ty, have a nice day -Stranger [EDIT] So I recently saw that skype had an update, and I got excited for a second. But it was nothing special, still the same old horrible app with many bugs. Still had a bad layout, still very complicated, still cant update your status, and many more awful bugs. They added the online green circle things, but you can only see who is online in a group chat. You can scroll through your contacts to see who is actually online. Oh, and we cant change our online status either. So great

I cant get my old conversations! Everything is gone. What do I do now?!??

They totally screwed the pooch with this update. Making this app almost unusable. Went from loving it, to hating it. Why cant anyone leave a good thing alone these days.

Easy to use and great video voice app.
